Last night saw the peak of the annual Orionid Meteor Shower, which typically produces around 20 meteors per hour. In terms of magnitude, while the Orionids are not one of three major showers (August’s Perseids, November’s Leonids, and December’s Geminids are these), it is still one of the better, more reliable of the minor showers
